Faster Birthday Celebration mod, for 1.4.6 and NEW VERSION for EP

This mod is now updated for the EP and 1.6.6 and later game versions. Older mod can be used with 1.4.6 and earlier. The celebration goes noticeably faster with the new mod than with the older one, so the mod is more effective than previously.

Shimrod Technologies A/S was recently informed that the birthday celebration takes a bit too long, so this was acted upon immediately and the time is cut in half or thereabouts with this mod. The only things affected are the actual blowing out of the candles, the celebration and clapping and the aging up process. The birthday 'party' which you arrange on the phone is not affected by this mod.

Used with version 1.4.6 and the Gabriel core mod. New mod is not tested with core mods.

i have had three birthdays (not parties but with the whole family attending) since installing. there have been no problems (as ur mods are great!)  i have noticed that the timing has been cut down somewhat, i am still averaging about 20min per celebration for the blowing, cheering and grow-up spin maneuver.

overall i am quite satisfied...and since i don't know if this was a difficult mod i do have one question (if it is in ANY way complex you have already been awesome so purge from ur memory bank)...is there anyway we can cut this down lower? just asking cause i still have multiple sets of twins to go...

I have a question. You say this works with the Gabriel core mod, but does it work with other core mods like Awesomemod? I wasn't aware there was another core mod out, though I don't lurk about too much. Also, will this mod work with making a age transition in general go faster or does it require the cake?

Larku: Without the cake being involved, the cheering/ageing process is reduced by 15 minutes. Best guess is that mod should work with Awesomemod unless Awesome changes anything with the sims' age stages. For example teen stage is shortened and YA stage or A lengthened or Elder shortened such that elders die off quicker. There is an XML mod that changes around this stuff, it would definitely conflict with mine.

Ah, okay. The SLAM mod from MTS might conflict with it then, it adjusts the length of the life stages. Thanks for the answer though.
